Protein Scale Up
We offer several scale up options for large scale protein preparation in bacteria (E. coli) and yeast (P. pastoris). We have prepared multiple types of recombinant proteins in the past, yielding from milligram to gram amounts of protein using common purification approaches.
We recommend to first optimize the expression and purification conditions using our screening platform prior to scale up.
The purified proteins are typically shipped in dry ice in the recommended storage buffer but we can also aliquot and lyophilize your final product.

Turnaround times are based on the amount of initial material (culture volume) but most protein expression/purification scale ups are performed in just 4-5 days.
1) Culture and First Purification Step:
Prices of protein expression and purification scale up services in E. coli is function of the number of construct/protein prepared and of the amount of starting material (volume of culture).
Below prices include: Protein expression + IMAC protein purification + Dialysis in storage buffer. Prices are total price, not price per construct. Protein scale up from rich media such as TB are charged an extra 15%.

You can send us the sequence of your protein(s) that we could gene synthesize and subclone into our proprietary expression plasmids. You can also send us your plasmids.
